Gather with Pennsylvania leaders in workforce development!

The Workforce Leaders Symposium provides a platform for leaders from various fields such as economic development, workforce development, education, and training to engage in discussions regarding policy, peers, and practice.

Attendees can network, learn, and exchange ideas on in-the-moment trends, hot topics, and insights that impact workforce development. The Symposium also offers an opportunity for attendees to shape their strategies, program designs, and capacity-building needs to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Who Should Attend

The audience includes workforce leaders, management, and next-generation professionals including but not limited to Local Workforce Development, Education & Training Providers, Career Development, Education (P-12) and Post-Secondary Institutions, Economic Development Organizations, Chambers, and Industry Trade Associations.

"Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed" - Did you know that 41% of working Pennsylvania Households earn less than the ALICE and Federal Poverty Level (FPL) thresholds?  What is ALICE and how does it relate to your workforce development plans, priorities, and needs? Learn the latest information about Pennsylvania's workers who struggle to financially survive, discuss opportunities for workers to improve their livelihood (increase their employment success!), and explore how the United Way of PA and PWDA are working together to support local efforts.
