Early childhood educators are the workforce behind the workforce caring for children so parents across every sector can go to work. This session examines career pathways in early childhood education through that lens, exploring how credentials, compensation, advancement opportunities, and system alignment shape workforce stability. Participants will consider how treating career pathways as essential economic infrastructure can improve educator retention, strengthen the early childhood field, and support a workforce that makes all other work possible.
